The Role:This contract opening represents a key position within the client’s facilities management team. Managing the facilities for a large office, the successful candidate with be responsible for the maintenance and development of an efficient and compliant workplace.
Duties will involve:
As the Facilities Lead, you will be responsible for the management of the facilities for a large office, with over 300 staff. You will handle contractor management as well as landlord liaison, whilst ensuring compliance with office health & safety and environmental regulations.
You will also have control of the facilities budget.
You will have proven experience of managing large office facilities, whilst also demonstrating previous experience with compliance with ISO 18001 and ISO 14001 regulations to ensure an effective, yet safe work environment.
In addition, you will also demonstrate the following;
·Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels with clients and employees alike and across all professional disciplines
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with an ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
·The ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines under pressure
·Excellent organisation and particular attention to detail
·Be commercially aware
