The Role:
Facilities Manager required to join the MoD (Ministry of Defence) DIO (Defence Infrastructure Organisation) to be based at their RAF base in Suffolk. 

Duties Include:  
Checking FM core contractors have completed planned maintenance, inspections and reactive repairs to a satisfactory standard in accordance with the contract. 
Service management and contractor performance including payment authorisation, technical review and validation of chargeable work; ensuring change control procedures are followed and local level issue resolution; carry out quality checks of core service delivery and KPI reporting and recording.
Attending and participating in site meetings as appropriate, including but not limited to weekly and monthly operational meetings, internal team meetings and ad-hoc meetings.

The Candidate: 
You will have previous of hard Facilities Management experience gained ideally in the Defence, Central or Local Government, or Health Sectors. 
Knowledge of systems such as Ellipse, Maximo, or SAP in the support of reviews of asset information systems.
You will be competent in dealing with planned maintenance schedules and sufficiently technically aware and able to confidently challenge performance issues and escalating to the head of FM. 
NB. Due to the nature of this role SC level (Security Clearance) is required.
