GIS Technician - 10 month Contract – Penrith
KEY SKILLS; GIS Technician, GPS Survey, Water

The Role:
Carry out GPS surveys and incorporate into GIS datasets.
Production of GIS Plans (land ownership, access, utility routing and legal plans).
Obtain and manage data from other sources including the Land Registry & Ordnance Survey.
Manage the control & distribution of both internal and external data.
Data management.

The Candidate:
Experience of GIS software, GIS data formats and coordinate systems.
Strong knowledge of spatial data and data management.
Proficient in the analysis / processing of GIS data and flood asset data.
Good all round IT skills.
Excellent attention to detail & self-motivated.
Water experience is preferred.
