LONG TERM contract opportunity for a QGIS GIS Technician working on the production of GIS Plans - based in Stockport
KEY SKILLS; GIS, Highways, QGIS, Geography, Mapping

The Role: 
Production of QGIS GIS Plans (land ownership, access, utility routing and legal plans).
Obtain and manage data from other sources including the Land Registry & Ordnance Survey.
Manage the control & distribution of both internal and external contractor drawings.
Data management and general office duties.

The Candidate: 
Must be proficient in QGIS GIS software, GIS data formats and coordinate systems.
Strong knowledge of spatial data and data management.
Proficient in the analysis / processing of GIS and Highway Asset data.
Good all round IT skills.
Excellent attention to detail & self-motivated.
