GIS Technician 4-month contract opportunity based in South Manchester
KEY Skills; Quantum QGIS, Metadata, Map Info, Geography, Mapping

The Role:
Carry out GPS surveys and incorporate into GIS datasets
To input Local Authority Drainage Reports into QGIS
Production of GIS Plans (land ownership, access, utility routing and legal plans)
Obtain and manage data from other sources including the Land Registry & Ordnance Survey

The Candidate:
Experience of QGIS software, GIS data formats and coordinate systems 
Good all round IT skills.
Excellent attention to detail & self-motivated
