LONG TERM contract opportunity for a MapInfo QGIS, GIS Technician/Clerk based in Stockport.
KEY SKILLS; GIS, Metadata, MapInfo, Geography, Mapping, Accounts, Office Clerk.

The Role: 
Production of MapInfo/QGIS GIS Plans (land ownership, access, utility routing and legal plans).
Obtain and manage data from other sources including the Land Registry & Ordnance Survey.
Manage the control & distribution of both internal and external contractor drawings.
Accounts checking and processing and general office duties.

The Candidate: 
Must be proficient in Excel and familiar with GIS Software systems.
Proficient in the analysis / processing of GIS data and Land Registry data.
Good all round IT skills.
Excellent attention to detail & self-motivated.
