The Role:
Our client who is working on behalf of Highways England are seeking a Contract GIS Transformation Team Leader to join their team in London on a contract basis and have involvement in a number of major infrastructure projects.
Within the role the key tasks will include:
Responding to the Employer Information Requirements and the Cascade Information Requirements within the main GIS execution plan.
Providing education and support in respect of the GIS Execution Plan.
Overall project compliance.
Task team capabilities.
Project common data environment process.
General GIS strategy operations.
HSW (Health Safety and Welfare).
Correspondence relating to the BIM execution plans.

The Candidate:
Highly experienced GIS professional, ideally with related GIS professional development.
ESRI ArcGIS software skills essential.
Track record of delivering projects to time, plus cost and quality standards across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Degree plus second degree or professional accreditation from a recognised organisation.
Understanding of NEC contracts.
Team Leader mentality and offering sound judgment and decision making.
Ability to work across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrable experience of working in a similar major infrastructure project in a similar industry and / or to working in a matrix and dispersed team.
