6 month Contract for 3 x Groundwork’s Supervisors, overseeing planned maintenance work on a number of routine small projects relating to Environment Agency river flood defences

The Role:
Scheduling and programming routine planned maintenance work.
Lead work groups on Environment Agency Flood defence maintenance.
Ensuring work is delivered effectively in a safe and environmentally sensitive way. 
Carry out scheduling of resources, monitoring of work to cost/quality and general performance reporting, in order to work effectively. Communicate with landowners and the public to ensure full awareness of the work to be undertaken.  Ensure all equipment/materials are available on site as specified so that work can be completed in line with required standards.

The Candidate:
A strong understanding of: Health and Safety and risk management procedures. 
Knowledge and understanding of CDM Regulations. 
Experience of field based operations, plant, machinery and equipment.
