KEY Skills: Chartered Building Surveyor, Property Legislation, Negotiations, Maintenance.

The Role:
As Head of Housing Needs and Lettings you will be responsible for a wide range of properties at various levels of maintenance and care. You will manage a diverse portfolio and be involved in advising and assessing building needs.

Duties will involve:
Develop and implement a robust and effective inspection regime.
Ensure that all housing assessments and reviews are undertaken.
Contribute positively to the development of new working practices and initiatives.
Ensure that an accurate record is kept of all housing and homelessness applications.
Investigate, analyse and respond promptly to customer complaints.

The Candidate:
You will demonstrate a history of working as a Building Surveyor with either a MRICS or AssocRICS qualification.
You should have knowledge of the various aspects of Building Surveying from start to finish.
Strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to negotiate.
