Health and Safety Advisor: c10mths Contract - £33.36/hour , London
KEY Skills: Highways, HSSW, CDM 


The Role:
Health and Safety Advisor required to join clients team engaged on the Lower Thames Crossing.
The programme will shortly be starting the site based ground investigation works and a Health & Safety Professional is required to:

• undertake site HSSW and CDM based assurance activities, specifically for Perfect Circle and early survey works
• develop processes and procedures
• undertake reporting requirements.

The position will be based in at the client’s offices close to Aldgate Tube Station, but will typically involve being based on site in Kent or Essex three days a week

Additional duties include:
Undertaking Inspections and Audits, Incident Management, Monthly reporting, preparing Management Systems including: preparing HSSW processes and procedures and CDM documentation.
Engagement and supporting the external stakeholders in relation to their HSSW requirements, where the project has agreed to assist and provide knowledge. Assist with the HSSW Campaigns 

The Candidate:
You will be a qualified Safety Professional IOSH/NEBOSH.
You will have a min 10years Construction experience in a relevant health and safety role.
Knowledgeable in H&S and CDM and the ability to research details in all areas, which gain the best from a Multi-Supplier programme.
Experience of advising/being involved in site based ground investigation.
Experience working in a marine/water environment would be beneficial.
Experience of audits, inspections and management systems
A current CSCS card holder (essential)
