The Role:
Our client Highways England is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Manager based in North West England.
Your duties will include:
Implementing business strategy and requirements; ensuring that the relevant key objectives are appropriately represented in the regional or programme business plan.
Developing and managing relevant health and safety programmes.
Developing and overseeing a health and safety advisory team.
Contributing to the development of programme and project health and safety targets, consistent with and aligned to, the overall Highways England objectives.
Overseeing health and safety performance and providing feedback to the directors.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Health & Safety Manager, ideally based in the North West.
You should have between 5 -10 years experience.
Ideally degree qualified / NEBOSH / CIMOSH.
You will have experience implementing health and safety strategy and services into the regional business, preferably working for a major infrastructure.
You should have experience of working at a regional or programme management level and leading health and safety teams.
