Overview:
Wilde Recruitment are looking to recruit a Highways Design Engineer to work on a 6 month contract in Stockport.
As a Highways Design Engineer your responsibilities and duties will include:
Highways Design Engineers to work in our Stockport office to deliver varied and challenging projects for public and private sector clients. 
 
Experience of:
Working in a highway design office is essential, typically with 3 to 5 years practical design experience.
Using MX software or Civils 3D (desirable, not essential) .
Drainage design for residential developments including S38/S104 applications (desirable, not essential). 
DMRB and current relevant design standards/codes is essential. 
 
The roles require a ‘hands on’ approach and the application of professional engineering knowledge and skills to the design of projects.  
 
Duties will involve; the preparation of feasibility studies, designs, scheme drawings, calculations, preparation of contract documents and specifications and supervision of contractors. 

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Highways Design Engineer
5+ years experience.
Local Authority exp.
