The Role:
Our client requires a Highways Design Engineer to undertake the design of major highway and municipal schemes. You will be working on varied and challenging multimillion pound highway and public realm projects for public and private sector clients. You will be responsible for the preparation of feasibility studies, designs, supervising scheme drawings, preparation of contract documents and specifications and supervision of contractors. 

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Highways Design Engineer, typically with 10 years practical design experience of highway engineering schemes. 
You will ideally be a Chartered or an Incorporated Engineer.
A working knowledge of the DMRB and current relevant design standards/codes is essential.
