Excellent Long term Contract opportunity for a Highways Design Engineer to work on various Highways England related projects from our clients offices in Cumbria; £Negotiable
KEY Skills; Highways, Design, Barrier, AutoCAD, DMRB, MCHW, Highways England

The Role:
Highways Design Engineer to work on a range of highway projects through detailed design.
Completion of the design of A road and motorway barriers and related numerous Highways England maintenance schemes. 
Technical responsibilities for ensuring designs are delivered in accordance with current standards & best practices. 

The Candidate:
Previous knowledge & experience of Highways England projects and Local Authority Projects 
The ability to act as lead designer on a range of projects and assist with the delivery of other projects as required- A comprehensive understanding of the DMRB and MCHW 
Demonstrable experience of pavement design, sign design and barrier design (inc. RRRAP Assessments).
Experience of producing Specifications and Bills of Quantities
Experience of producing TRO’s, TTRO’s
