Highways Design Engineer; Minimum 6-months Contract; Stockport; Rate £Negotiable

The Role:
An experienced Highways Design Engineer to progress highway and municipal schemes with the minimum of supervision.
You will be responsible for the review of design and design drawings, supervising scheme drawings, preparation of contract documents and specifications and supervision of contractors. 

The Candidate:
You will be qualified to HNC/degree level and ideally be a member of a recognised professional body. You will be an experienced Highways Design Engineer, with hands on practical design experience of highway engineering schemes. 
A working knowledge of the current highway design standards/codes is essential.
