We are seeking a Highways Design Engineer to join one of the largest independently owned consultancies in the UK with offices in London, Stockport and Warrington. 

The Role:
You will be based at our clients South Manchester office as a Highways Team Leader/Associate Director.
You will be working on varied and challenging highway and public realm projects for public and private sector clients.
Duties will involve supervision of staff, preparation of feasibility studies, reviewing/approving scheme drawings, assisting with the preparation of design fee estimates and interfacing with clients.
A working knowledge of the DMRB and current relevant design standards/codes is essential.
Liaising with other discipline team members to ensure technical integration.

The Candidate:
You will be a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer
Experience of working in a highway design office at a senior level is essential, typically with at least 10 to 15 years’ practical design experience.
Experience of delivering highway related projects from conceptual stages through all phases of pre-and post-contract activities.
