6 month contract for a Highways Inspector to work on highway resurfacing of the M5 J4A- 6 All Lane Running Smart Motorway in Wychbold.

The Role:
Ensure that work is carried out to the client's standards, specification and schedule working under the Site Supervisor on an NEC Contract.
Being familiar with all the relevant drawings and written instructions, checking them and using them as a reference when inspecting the work.
Making visual inspections.
Taking measurements and samples on site to make sure that the work and the materials meet the specifications and quality standards.
Keeping accurate site diary of weather conditions, visitors to the site, drawings received, deliveries,
instructions and details of any significant events including any serious deficiencies in health or safety performance observed while on site.

The Candidate:
Experienced Highways Inspector.
Knowledge of highway surfacing and able to hold their own against a surfacing contractor.
Finishing stage/sign off of works.
Assist with handover to the Asset Owners on behalf of Highways England.
