Overview:

Our Client is looking for an experienced Highways Inspector to assess the existing highways, major roads, A roads, B roads around Stockport for defects and to log necessary repairs.

The Role:
Inspecting the highway for defects in accordance with highway inspection polices
Identifying appropriate types of repairs for highway defects
Pot hole inspection
Meeting with residents/councillors regarding highway defect issues
Responding to written public/councillor highway defect queries/complaints
Undertaking enforcement of breaches of the Highways Act.
Streetworks Act/Highways Inspector

The Candidate:
You will be qualifies to a ONC level
You will have 5 Years Highways Drainage Experience
You will have good IT Skills, mainly Excel & Word 
You will be comfortable walking long distances
You must be IT literate
Desirable: UKPMS, GAIST, NRAWA. experience.
