Highways Engineer; 12 Mth plus Contract; Oldham; Rate c£33.0/hour (Ltd) - Outside IR35

The Role: 
A Highways Engineer required with extensive experience of managing local authority highway maintenance/surfacing projects and programmes (must have previous local authority experience.  

Duties may include: 
You will be responsible for managing local authority highway maintenance/surfacing projects and programmes including; carriageway and footway reconstruction and resurfacing schemes. You will also be responsible for the preparation of specifications and managing budgets.

The Candidate:
Ideally, educated to HND/degree level in Civil Engineering with experience of site supervision for cyclical highway maintenance services.
Candidates must have previous local authority experience and have previous experience in coordinating traffic management/signing etc.
You will have a sound knowledge of CDM regulations, Drainage and Highways construction and maintenance techniques and of applying for/managing GMRAP street works notices. 
NB. This role is Outside IR35
