Excellent 12 month+  Contract opportunity for a Highways Project Manager to work on Transport Fund/programmes for West Yorkshire Council; Huddersfield; £Negotiable

The Role:
An experienced Highways Project Manager to manage transport related projects from conceptual stages through all phases of the approval process through Outline Business Case (OBC) approval for its projects based on the Five Case Model (HM Treasury Green Book). 
Have technical responsibility for the development of transport/highways schemes across West Yorkshire.
Provide project management functions including the financial management of projects, assistance with the bids and submissions.

The Candidate:
You will be qualified to degree level and ideally a member of a recognised professional body. 
You will be an experienced in project management of local authority road network schemes.
Experienced with commercial and bid appraisals. 
A working knowledge of the current highway design standards.
