Highways Site Engineer x2: 6 Months+ Contract; Wokingham; Rate £33 p/h umbrella

The Role:
Our client, Balfour Beatty is working with Vinci to deliver a smart motorway package worth up to £607.4m, the largest of Highways England’s three packages within its £1.5bn Smart Motorway Programme.
Balfour Beatty VINCI, a 60:40 joint venture, will deliver smart motorway upgrades to a 32-mile stretch of the M4 (Junctions 3 to 12) in London and Berkshire as part of this wider smart motorway package.

Duties will involve:
A Site Engineer is required to conduct the following duties;
Setting out
Management of statistics
Management of supply chain and contractors
ITP / permit management / permit development
Project documentation, risk assessments and method statements.

The Candidate: 
The candidate will have a full driver’s licence and CSCS card, as well as;
Recent and strong highways / roads experience (including construction works on a live motorway) and at least two years’ experience in a Highways Site Engineer role.
