Highway/Traffic Engineer (Rights of Way) – 6mth Contract – Manchester – Rate £neg

The Role:
We are seeking a Highways/Traffic/Transportation Engineer; to deliver the core elements of Public Rights of Way. 

Duties to include:
Completion of site inspections and reporting to investigate faults and issues with the network;
Arrangement and supervision of necessary remedial works to address identified faults and issues and maintain the PROW network in a good and safe condition;
Receive, investigate and resolve complaints, liaising with a wide selection of interested parties including user groups, landowners, local members, officers and legal representatives;
Provision of support in the production of committee papers and briefings in relation to key rights of way issues, work programmes, and legal orders;
Monitoring of the implementation of public path orders to ensure they are implemented in accordance with the approved plans;
Provision of detailed, accurate and timely information where required; and support to maintain records to a high standard. 

The Candidate: 
You will be an experienced Highways/Traffic/Transportation Engineer with local Authority experience and preferably previous experience of Public Rights of Way.
