12 Month Contract for 3 x Highway Supervisors working overseeing the Quality Control for the AWPR (Aberdeen Bypass); £280 - £300/day

The Role: 
The Highway Supervisor will be one of a team of five in each section, and will interface heavily with Construction, Designer, and Document Control staff. 
The role will cover both direct works carried out by the Construction Joint Venture and works carried out by Subcontractors.
You will be physically checking the works and recording your findings on Quality Checklists, generally after the construction team has indicated that the works in question are complete, and will communicate any defects or unfinished works back to the construction teams to resolve. 
You will also invite the Designer's Site Team to inspect works after they have completed their checks and to gain the Designer's written acceptance. 
The role will also involve marking up drawings with as-built information to be issued to the Designer to create as-built records. 
You will also be involved in contributing with solutions to non-conformances (defects), to allow the works to be accepted as compliant. 

The Candidate:
Must have a minimum of 3 years site experience in the construction or supervision of highways projects in the UK and would suit site engineers/QC Engineers looking to apply their existing capability and expand their technical knowledge in a fast moving environment.
