ICA Engineer; c£40/hour, 6 month contract; Warrington
KEY SKILLS: ICA, Instrumentation, Control and Automation, DCS/PLC, SCADA

The Role:
ICA Engineer required to work as part of a team to assist in the preparation and support of Instrumentation Control & Automation (ICA) tender, outline and detailed design solutions associated with the delivery of projects.
You will be mainly working from the clients Warrington offices and will be involved in process enhancement & refurbishment of treatment works, pumping stations, outfalls etc. within the clean & waste water treatment sectors.
Duties will include:
Evaluation, selection and application of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
Make recommendations for control systems design, upgrade, and improvement.
Assist senior design process engineers as needed on large complex projects.
Maintain a mindset of health & safety in all aspects of project execution, office and personal environments.
Liaise with internal and external clients to develop relationships across the business and cooperation with engineers and designers across other disciplines.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced degree qualified ICA Engineer with previous experience in process automation design and systems integration management.
Chartered status is desirable.
You will be experienced in the design and programming of major brands of DCS/PLC and SCADA products for municipal or industrial type facilities. 
In addition, you will have experience of the following:
Process automation design and systems integration management.
Instrumentation selection specification and design.
Industrial network design and technologies (TCP/IP & Profibus).
SCADA system design experience.
Good knowledge of PLC programming methodology & PLC capabilities (Allen Bradley/Siemens PLC preferable).
Knowledge of Telemetry technologies.
Commissioning.
Control panel design review, fabrication inspection, and testing.
Software testing and inspection.
Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel
