The Role:
The Land Agent (Town Planner) will be responsible for the management of the rural and to some extent the built estate, providing advice on all aspects of property management and town planning strategies through understanding defence outputs and objectives.

The Candidate:
As a Land Agent, you will demonstrate a history of working as a Town Planner to develop town planning strategies to maximise potential future use.
You should have knowledge of property management, town planning and an excellent understanding of planning policies.
Ensure Coherence across defence and estate planning through collaborative working and managing the dependencies between strategic estate and other initiatives.
Provide advice to customers on the potential planning, valuation and other property management issues that would need to be taken into account in weighing up options.
Strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to negotiate are essential.
Chartered Town Planner
SC Cleared.

Duties will involve:
Lease/licence management, provision of advice to the main customer and liaison with other customers and stakeholders on all aspects of property management including; agricultural, residential, telecommunications and commercial tenancies; lettings, hirings, rent reviews, rent arrears management and control, renewals, terminations, surrenders, dilapidations, Town and Country Planning, enforcement action, schedules of condition, casual use agreements, easements and way leaves, property maintenance, valuations, land registration, Lands Bye laws, minor disposals, acquisitions and management of consultants.
