Wilde Recruitment Ltd are looking to recruit a Lead Civil Structural Engineer to work on an ongoing basis in the Knutsford / Manchester Airport are.
As a Lead Civil / Structural Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:
An international energy and environmental engineering company, our professional services
span Consultancy, Technology & Innovation and Project Delivery. We are an industry leader with a
portfolio spanning research and development through to design and commissioning of process,
power, and renewables technology. With a worldwide clientele in emerging and existing industries,
we provide a full range of project management and engineer services from concept to full EPCC.
Your time will primarily be based at our office in Knutsford with occasional visits to Client sites and
our offices in Ellesmere Port and Lancaster.

Responsible for providing leadership and managing a team of engineers working on numerous
projects.
You shall have good technical knowledge as well as knowledge of other disciplines and have the
technical and project management skills to coordinate and control all C&S engineering aspects of
projects. Including in-house design and 3rd Party Sub-Contractors.
You will work closely with the Lead Project Manager and Projects Director in order to understand the
current priorities and challenges and effectively manage the group portfolio

About you
Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering and chartered membership of the ICE/ IStructE or working toward
chartered status
Good knowledge of design including the production of engineering design calculations, drawings and
documents. Design shall include structural steel and reinforced concrete. An understanding of
geotechnical design issues.
Knowledge of all relevant UK design standards including EuroCodes. Experience of producing CTR
and capital cost estimates for both the design and construction phases of projects.
Ability to manage, motivate and develop a team of engineers to enable them to take on more
responsibility and reach their maximum potential.
