Client / Role:
Our client is a multi‐disciplinary Engineering Design Support and Consultancy. Based in the North West of England, their clients are wide ranging, from local industry to blue-chip multi‐nationals, and span sectors including petrochemical (fuel storage and handling), pharmaceutical, chemical, water and waste‐to‐energy.
Duties/details about the position:
You will be working in a design and engineering environment across the three disciplines (electrical, control, instrumentation).
Using knowledge of HV design and engineering.
Functional safety design and testing (TUV FS Certification).
Performing accurate design calculations and complete cost estimates.
Using AMTECH engineering and design software.
Safety systems design and validation (BS EN 61508 & BS EN 61511).
Using in‐depth knowledge of DSEAR, hazardous area classification equipment/design and CompEx requirements.
Control to cost and programme for, and on behalf of, the project and the client.
Project management, leadership and influencing on multi‐discipline projects (including large overseas projects).

The Candidate:
You will be a Senior or Lead EC&I Engineer with at least 5-10 years experience.
You should be degree qualified.
You will have experience of Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Renewable Energy  etc.
Ideally you will be located in the North West of England.
