Lead Engineer – RAM, 12 month Contract , £40.00 / hr plus (Neg), Warrington    
KEY SKILLS: RAM (Reliability Availability and Maintainability), Mechanical, Nuclear, Analysis

The Role:
Lead Engineer / Analyst – RAM required to lead a team on the delivery of radioactive of radioactive materials (RAM), transport engineering activities and projects, and provide technical advice.
You will be responsible for leading the delivery of engineering tasks or projects to meet agreed time, cost and quality objectives. This includes the management of engineers and third-party suppliers.

Duties Will Include:
Lead delivery of a RAM transport system, engineering activities and projects.
Support to the development of safety cases for RAM transport assets and systems.
Support to engineers / engineering analysts, and checking of their work.
Monitoring and reporting of work against schedule and budget, and other KPIs as agreed.
Work to current management processes and systems, and contribute to their continued development and improvement.

The Candidate:
You will have been educated to degree level in engineering (ideally mechanical) and be ideally a Chartered Engineer or have a recognised professional engineering qualification, or equivalent.
You will have good experience / knowledge / understanding of engineering applied to RAM transport.
You will have the experience and capability to lead an engineering activity or small project with minimum guidance, support and / or checking required.
As per the amended intermediaries’ legislation (IR35); this assignment is deemed to be a public sector off payroll assignment inside IR35 for tax and NI.
This assignment therefore can only be offered via; a tax compliant umbrella company or on a PAYE basis.
