Manufacturing Engineer - 6months - Contract - Derby - £40/hr (Neg)
Key Words: Manufacturing, SC Cleared, GD&T, ASME 14.5, Six Sigma, Nuclear, Stakeholder,Metallic Manufacturing Processes.

The Role:
An opportunity for experienced Manufacturing Engineer to work on the multibillion replacement programme for the Trident Nuclear submarine.
Define and assess a manufacturing Implementation strategy and the management of this.
Manage packages of work using the client's methods and processes.
Successfully implement technical projects. 
Manage task delivery against Quality, Cost and Delivery targets.
Experience of working in conjunction with other stakeholders is essential

The Candidate: 
You will be qualified MEng / BEng or HND with proven experience as a manufacturing engineer.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and maturing these from concept into production is essential. 
Fully conversant with GD&T and/or ASME 14.5
Conversant with NPI techniques
Knowledge of PPAP
Knowledge of metallic manufacturing processes
Facilitator of Design for Manufacture activities 
Knowledge of measurement and NDE techniques.
Knowledge and/or experience of machining and fabrication.
Assessment and the creation of Methods of Manufacture and establishing a fixed process
