9 -month Contract for a Marine Construction Manager to work on a Major Civils Project (Battersea): Rate to £47 ph

The Role: 
Develop a tailored application of systems, process and tools suitable for management and supervision of the Boat Relocation works contractor
Ensure focus on delivering transformational health and safety performance is maintained, with particular emphasis of working on or near water.
Assist and work with Project Manager to ensure that Thames Tunnel’s HSSE/CDM, quality, financial, risk management, business and policy expectations are met throughout works activities
Carries out readiness reviews prior to mobilisation and in advance of critical activities.
Lead reviews of construction documentation to support construction activities including RAMS, temporary works design and supporting construction processes and procedures.
Supervises the contractor on site
Monitors the quality of the works, with issues raised to the contractor and NEC Supervisor as required
Produce daily and weekly reports of site progress.

The Candidate: 
Marine civil construction management experience including piling, dredging and major lifting operations over water use of jack-up and spud leg barges
Significant experience of setting up and implementing construction management processes for complex engineering and construction projects.
Familiar with the NEC 3 form of contract
