Master Planner; Minimum 6-months Contract; Reading; Rate c£600.0/Day Ltd

The Role:
The Rural Payments Agency (DEFRA) are looking for a Senior Planner, Analysis and Forecasting Expert to join their Reading office and provide the organisation with advanced forecasting tools and advice.

Duties will involve:
The successful Master Planner will be required to develop a resource modelling and forecasting tool to enable dynamic understanding of the impacts and consequences of a range of business decisions such as project delivery plans, resource requirements and performance delivery.
Travel to other offices will be required on a regular basis.

The Candidate: 
You must be comfortable with project management methodology so a project management qualification or accreditation would be extremely beneficial (e.g. APMP, PRINCE2).
Additionally;
MUST have supreme Excel data and analytical capability, especially in a resource modelling and reporting context.
Must have developed forecasting models for use in scenario testing.
Wide experience in delivering complex programmes within government and a change context.
Demonstrable experience of leading and delivering business and experience of turning around performance delivery.
