The Co / Role / Duties:
Wilde Recruitment are very excited to be recruiting a Mechanical Building Services Engineer for our client based in Rochdale. Working with world-leading organisations in the pharmaceutical, life science and healthcare sectors to create cutting-edge cleanrooms, laboratories and other sophisticated environments. Committed to innovation and excellence, our client provides a specialist services encompass consultancy, design, construction, commissioning and validation.
Although reporting to the Design Lead you will have responsibility for the following mechanical / HVAC design processes from concept through to detailed design including involvement in commissioning support as required.
As a Mechanical Engineer you should have an overall Competence of all major building services systems would be required including:
General & process specific supply & extract ventilation
Fume & dust extract
Clean room ventilation
Comfort air conditioning
Process specific heating / cooling / dehumidification and humidification
Chilled water
LPHW / MPHW & HPHW , Steam & Condensate
Building Management Systems
Natural Gas
Compressed air
Nitrogen & Special Gases
Domestic & process H&CWS
Above ground drainage

The candidate:
You will be qualified to at least HNC / HND or Degree level.
You should have at least 5-10 years relevant experience within the Pharma / Cleanroom sector.
You will be fully conversant with CDM Regs & Risk Assessments Processes.
You will have a good working knowledge of HEVACOMP & Cymap.
