The Role:
The RAL Space Mechanical Engineering Group (MEG) requires mechanical engineering design contractors to produce the designs and detailed drawings for the manufacture and assembly of various projects. 
The tasks will involve: 
Producing 3D-CAD models of designs and supporting design documentation. 
Producing drawings of components for manufacture.
Producing assembly drawings. 

The Candidate:
You will be a Mechanical CAD Engineer with at least 5+ years experience.
You should be qualified to at least HNC level.
You will need to be able to obtain BPSS clearance.
You need to be fully efficient in the use of SOLIDEDGE (version ST10 or later preferred, version ST7 and later will be considered). 
Experience in similar role beneficial (space instrumentation, satellites, cleanliness levels, vacuum compatible materials, vacuum systems, cryogenic systems, thermal environment).
