Mechanical Construction Engineers, - long term contract Bristol c£45/hour 
KEY Skills: Mechanical, Piping, Construction, Balance of Plant, Nuclear, Power, Hickley Point c. 

The Role:
Mechanical Construction Engineers required to join a team engaged on the design and construction of the Balance of Nuclear Island (BNI) - Mechanical Erection package for the construction of the proposed Hinkley Point C nuclear power station – set to be the UK’s first new nuclear power station in over 20 years.

Duties and responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Construction Engineer your duties will include:
Undertaking of constructability reviews to develop construction strategies for the installation of plant and equipment on site.
The Production of the associated Safe Systems of Work including method statements, risk assessments, inspection and test plans etc.

Additional Duties will include:
Development and production of detailed delivery work packs for site installation activities
Preparation of risk assessments and method statements for site-based activity
Emergency and security arrangements/ plans
Lifting Plans.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Mechanical Construction Engineer qualified to HNC min in an appropriate mechanical engineering discipline.
You will have prior experience of working on Large scale multi-discipline construction projects and high integrity piping design and installation. 
You will ideally be qualified IOSH Managing Safely or have another equivalent H&S qualification.

NB. Role is initially based in Bristol will eventually transfer onto the Hinkley Point C site.
