The Role:

Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team as work demands have rapidly increased and to support the design processes and be the driving force for new, creative ideas

Duties:
Use Modern 3D Scanning and Rapid Manufacturing techniques to reproduce and optimise legacy equipment in a variety of applications.
Using Siemens NX to create new prototypes and products
Report to the Principal Design Engineer on any new project issues
Produce Proposals and quotations
Obtaining supplier costs and liaising with the clients
Managing expectations to win work
Confident to present a design review in front of a client
Working autonomously and interface directly with clients and/or sub-contractors

The Candidate:
MSc qualified (ideally) or Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive or Equivalent engineering Degree
Minimum of 4 years’ experience within the Professional Engineering sector
Proficient in CAD ideally Siemens NX with good knowledge of the software
Have obtained or working towards a chartership with a recognised institution
