Overview / Responsibilities:

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working for STFC/BEIS in order to recruit a contract Mechanical Designer to work on a 3month rolling contract based at Didcot.
As the Mechanical Designer you will experience of; 
General experience in mechanical component design, which should be supported with knowledge of manufacturing processes and the assembly of parts.
Previous experience of how components are machined, fabricated and assembled.

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Mechanical Designer.
You will have experience using Solidedge CAD.
You will have knowledge of;
•Use of Geometric tolerancing and precision machining of parts
• Past practical experience in the manufacture and assembly of parts
• Knowledge of vacuum components
• Mechanical component design of bespoke equipment
