Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side BB BEP in order to recruit a Mechanical Designer.
As a Mechanical Designer your duties and responsibilities will include:
The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).
Senior Mechanical Designer/CAE coordinator – Inventor/PDMS/AutoCAD/Navisworks. Reporting to CAE Lead Engineer. Responsible for:
Production of 3D Inventor models and import into PDMS model.
Coordination of electronic data for master schedules such as Plant Item List and Penetration schedule.
A flexible and versatile approach to a variety of design related tasks depending project requirements including but not limited to:
Oversee correct use of Autodesk Vault.
Production of Construction animations using Navisworks
Help engineers to attain compliance with BIM execution plan.
Ensure all data is entered correctly as per SL’s EIR tables.
Data validation – ensure Model and respective master schedules are maintained as per procedures.
Checking of work undertaken by other designers


Senior mechanical designer role using Inventor.
Minimum 6 years mechanical design experience.
Ability to demonstrate strong competence in delivery of detail design under own supervision reporting to the Lead Designer and Engineers. 
Nuclear experience is preferred 
A working knowledge of SL standards and procedures is preferred.
HNC minimum.
Sound knowledge of 3D data driven project. 
Knowledge of plant layout and mechanical package equipment assembly is required, liaison with suppliers and an understanding of construction sequencing would be beneficial.
