Mechanical Designer / Checker - Warrington - Rate £30-£40/hr NEG - Contract 12 months+

Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working alongside Cavendish Nuclear in order to recruit a Mechanical Designer / Checker to work on a contract basis initially for 12 months based in Warrington.

As a Mechanical Designer / Checker you will be involved with:
Design Schemes
Design Proposal Drawings
Detail Drawings
General Assemblies
Conveyors Systems

Mechanical Handling

Functional Specifications/ Functional Requirements Documents
Technical Reports and Studies
Design Justification Reports 
Take responsibility for delivery of single-discipline work package to programme, budget and required quality.
Have working knowledge and experience in applying relevant EH&S issues as required by legislation (and applicable Directives).
Has taken part in Designers Risk Assessments / Design Reviews and ideally in HAZOP studies.
Understands the requirements of CE marking.
Preferably, AutoCAD proficient in both Model Space and Paper Space and Ideally; will have Inventor experience.
Good working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, weld symbols, limits and fits, surface finish. 


You will have experience of Conveyors, Rotating Equipment.
You will be qualified to at least HNC level.
You will have excellent communication skills.
You MUST have/show CHECKING experience.
