BPSS / Disclosure Scotland - ESSENTIAL

The Role:
Contract Mechanical CAD Designer.
You will be based in the ISIS Design Division and will work closely with fellow engineers and scientists, providing designs for one off items, then managing the manufacture, installation and commissioning of the equipment you have produced.
You will be responsible for the design and procurement of mechanical components for various parts of the facility.
Work includes the conceptual and detailed design phases. The production of mechanical designs and detailing using 2D and 3D CAD.
You will be HNC or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering related subject as a minimum. Desirable: Degree level, or equivalent, in a related subject.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Mechanical CAD Designer ideally with SolidEdge ST7 experience.
You should have at least 5 - 10 years experience.
You will be eligible to obtain or already have BPSS ? Disclosure Scotland security clearance.
You will have hands on experience with 3D design.
