Mechanical Engineer; ideally SC cleared (BPSS minimum); rate to contractor £38-£40/hr; 12mth plus contract; Aztec West, Bristol

The Role:
Mechanical Engineers with Nuclear experience required to start as soon as possible in Aztec West, Bristol for Cavendish Nuclear.
As the Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for providing cost/timescale information and progress reporting to the Project Lead. 
You will provide design solutions for the nuclear industry through production of:
Design schemes
Design proposal drawings
Detail drawings
General assemblies
Functional specifications
Functional requirements documents
Technical reports and studies
Design justification reports
Present at designers risk assessments
Design reviews and ideally at HAZOP studies.

The Candidate:
The Mechanical Engineer will be SC cleared (BPSS for the right candidate).
You will be educated to degree standard/HND/HNC as a minimum and ideally have design experience.
You will have experience of producing mechanical design deliverables for mechanical handling equipment, special purpose machinery and lifting equipment etc.
Able to travel and work at customer’s sites and locations. 
You will have working knowledge of Inventor or AutoCAD.
Must be a sole British Passport holder (not dual nationality).
