Mechanical Engineer - Plymouth - Contract 6 months+ Rate £35/hr Ltd Co Neg

Overview:
Wilde Recruitment are working together with Babcock Naval Marine in Devonport Plymouth. Looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to work initially on a 6 month contract. Principal functions will include; Design, Bidding, Projects and Client/Stakeholder engagement.

Duties/Involvement:
As a Mechanical Engineer your duties will include;
Preparing and checking design documentation.
Authorising design documentation.
Preparing Design Reviews
Management of design teams 
Supervising, planning and controlling work.
Support to surface ship, submarine, commercial and equipment projects.
Preparing design estimates and schedules.
Providing technical recommendations for selecting sub-contractors and/or suppliers.
Providing liaison/management of technical aspects of work carried out by sub-contractors
Undertake the supervision, preparation and checking of design documentation.

Candidate:
You will have worked in the field of Mechanical/Marine Engineering design, analysis and technical management at an appropriate level.
You should have at least 5-10years experience.
Ideally Degree/Chartered status.
