Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working along side Babcock Naval Marine in order to recruit a number of Mechanical Fitters / Technicians to work on a contract basis in Plymouth initially for 6 months.
As a Mechanical Fitter / Technician your duties and responsibilities will include:Here at Devonport Royal Dockyard we’re looking for Mechanical Fitters to join the team that is at the forefront of supporting the Royal Navy fleet. You’ll play an integral role in ensuring the serviceability of warships and systems through detailed maintenance and refit periods by working within multi–trade teams. 
Using your mechanical experience, you’ll remove, overhaul and install a variety of mechanical equipment which could include hydraulics, weapons, water and fuel systems and LP/HP air, among other assets. Working to engineering drawings and technical specifications, you’ll also install and align new equipment and carry out system and equipment functional tests and surveys. 

Candidate:
You will be an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Technician.
Ideally 5=years experience.

You’ll need to hold qualifications in at least one of the following:
Indentured Apprenticeship 
Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline 
Armed Forces PO/CPO/NCO with mechanical specialisation
Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification
