Mechanical Inspection Engineer - 3-4 Months+ Contract - c£40-£50/hr - UK wide

The Role:
Mechanical Inspection Engineers; Power plant outage (repair and maintenance) to work on a contract basis at various sites/stations throughout the UK.
Your duties will include:
Undertaking Inspection, progressing and expediting of a wide range of Mechanical equipment. 
Assisting the Plant Outage Manager and Quality Surveillance Engineers with the review and approval of inspections, test plans, and manufacturing programmes.
Liaising with contractors. 
Reporting of assignment activities. 
Reviewing contract documentation.
Issuing relevant documentation and to ensure that changes or additional requirements are properly implemented.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Mechanical Inspection Engineer, with significant experience of the repair and maintenance of Power plants/Outages.
You will be qualified to at least HND or Degree level. 
You will have experience and qualifications in NDT (PT,MT,UT) and Weld Inspection/techniques (AWS or CSWIP certs).
You will have significant experience of: Steam Turbines, Pressure Systems, Rotating Equipment, Gas Generators and Transformers.
