Mechanical Integration Engineer: 6 month contract Barrow

The Role: 
Experienced Mechanical Engineer to work on the Integration/interface aspects of projects. You will have “ownership” of all Mechanical integration / interface aspects of a project and direct the project to an optimised solution.                  
 
Duties
As the Mechanical Integration Engineer you will work with the Engineering Manager to support Project Managers in the successful delivery of all engineering aspects of projects.
You will be responsible for the Integration of Mechanical and Piped Services Equipment into test facilities 
You advise Project Managers on engineering risk and devise plans to mitigate this risk.
Implementing the design configuration and ensuring, via controlled and authorised change, that the design configuration is declared and maintained.
Develop design work scope and support the development of an agreed strategy and plan to deliver the Mechanical Integration aspects of the project.
Supervise the production of designs by sub-consultants.
Ensure that necessary design reviews, optioneering workshops, value engineering workshops held in accordance with the set out LCM strategy.
Review Facility Requirement Plans as the design develops.
Developing and executing effective design integration strategies and plans in line with the overall project strategies and plans.
Delivering integrated and robust Mechanical integration solutions, designs, specifications and instructions and documentation 
Utilise the Responsible Discipline Engineers (CSA, Mechanical, CE&I, Process) to fulfil the Design Authority role on behalf of the Facilities Chief Engineer. 
 
The Candidate: 
You will be a HND/Degree Qualified Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience of Skid Mounted equipment ideally within the Marine/Offshore industries. 
You will hold current SC Clearance
