The Project/ Role:
The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).
This role is responsible for the independent delivery of mechanical handling work packages to include production of technical specifications, mechanical datasheets, enquiry requisitions and technical bid analysis. 
Specific Requirements:
To assist A100/500 Lead Engineer
Produce technical specifications, mechanical datasheets, enquiry requisitions and completing technical bid analysis.
Design Tools/Software:
AutoCAD, Autodesk Vault Basis, NavisWorks, SharePoint, General Microsoft office packages.

The Candidate:
You will be a Mechanical / Package Engineer with at least 5-10years experience.
Experience working with Sellafield procedures.
Ability to perform basic preliminary design calculations.
The individual will need to be able to work on their own initiative. 
A pro-active, self-starter with good communication, analytical and team working skills.
Flexible to working as the current role may involve travelling to speak with various engineers and vendors.
The ability to obtain BPSS is essential for continuance in the role.
SC preferred but can be obtained once appointed if required.
