Mechanical Site Engineer - Contract 12 months+ Hinkley - £260 / £284 day

The Role:
Our client Magnox is looking to recruit a Mechanical Site Engineer.
Your duties will include;
Managing, controling and supervising site work to ensure that projects are completed safely within specified company and project safety procedures and plans.
Health and safety legislation, particularly CDM regulations & site instructions.
Dealing with PMAF / DPAF processes.
Site licence requirements and other MCPs, LSIs etc.
Monitor, record and report project progress and resource usage through managing the project issues log and maintaining a comprehensive daily project log.
Hold weekly contractor progress meetings and ensure that contractors provide quality plans, method statements and risk assessments necessary for their work and adhere to them.
Contribute to the project close out evaluation and implement improvements.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer with at least 5 - 10 years experience ideally within the nuclear industry sector.
You will be qualified to at least HNC level.
Be fully conversant with nuclear, decommissioning, plant modifications, CDM and health & safety.
