MEICA Engineer - 11 Months Contract - Hatfield - £269/day - Environment Agency

The Role: 
The role will be based in our clients Hatfield office and site visits will be required occasionally. 
You will need to familiarise yourself with the Environment Agency MEICA standards and the 8 sites within the MEICA package.
You will be responsible for producing User Requirement Specifications (URS) to be included in a tender for appraisal and design work. 
Being part of the Environment Agency MEICA team you will take responsibility for the final issue of the URS documentation and will act as quality assurance for all project deliverables.

The Candidate: 
Ideally you will have experience with the Environment Agency or Water Industry. 
You will have experience of identifying and prioritising key customer requirements. 
You should have experience of full project lifecycle, experience of assessing designs against specifications and in being involved with / witnessing / supervising commissioning activities.
You will have experience of working with control systems, automation, producing specifications to cover customer requirements and appropriate standards and legislation.
