Revit MEP Technician Co-Ordinator - Bristol - Contract - £neg - Building Services

The Role/ Candidate:
You will be an experienced MEP Revit Technician / Co-Ordinator who has a minimum of  2-4 years experience minimum in using Revit for modelling purposes. A good level of knowledge in modelling and creating families will be an important prerequisite (since there is likely to be mechanical equipment on site where a standard family cannot be sought from manufacturer)
2-4 years’ experience in working in electrical/mechanical/public health/piping BUILDING SERVICES or similar industry, and therefore a familiarity with standard fittings, equipment, valves, sizes, jointing techniques etc. This will assist in translating scan/site information into model.
You will be comfortable using other software’s such as 3D CAD, Revit, Inventor etc which may be useful, as this may assist in creating complex geometry for families (as above)
Good level of design experience, with ability to work from and record on-site information to model mechanical and electrical systems. Familiarity with standard building services systems such as local extract ventilation, piping systems, general heating/cooling.
Experience in using Navisworks would be an advantage and will assist in clash detection and coordination of design information.
