NDT Manager - Devonport - 6 months+ £30-£40/hr NEG - Contract

The Role:
Our client Babcock/Cavendish are currently looking to recruit a to work on a 6month contract in Devonport (South Coast)

Project and duties as a NDT Manager may include:
Have responsibilities for Systems, Structures, Plant and Equipment (SSPE).
Involved with constant liaison and dialogue with the Babcock Welding Design and NDT Department.
Ensure correct NDE techniques/processes are utilised submarines, ships, factories group.
Provide level 3 review and support Babcock Nuclear Services, Future Nuclear Facilities, INTEC, Composites, Successor and Clyde.
To produce and sign-off internal and external procedures within their Level 3 PCN qualifications.
To review and keep up-to-date approved and released procedures for both the department and any sub-contractors.
To advise on construction proposals with a view to suitability of welded construction and NDT requirements.
Review suitability of NDT procedures and NDT personnel qualification.
Rolls Royce Submarine and the MoD to review and approve NDT procedures in their design authority capacities.

The Candidate:
You will be an experienced NDT Supervisor / Manager.
You will qualified to at least ONC.
You will have (ESSENTIAL) - PCN Level 3 in either MPI, LPI, UT or UT and ToFD
