Overview:
Wilde Recruitment Ltd are working alongside Babcock Naval Marine in order to recruit a Nuclear Performance Management Specialist to work on a 6 month contract based at Devonport PL2.
As a Nuclear Performance Management Specialist your responsibilities and duties may include:
The role is based in Devonport Royal Dockyard and site attendance is required. 
Overall Department Direction
The Nuclear Performance Management team is responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of a Nuclear Safety Performance Improvement programme.
Through:

Motivating and challenging others to promptly identify and report:
• Concerns.
• Degraded conditions.
• Near misses.

Ensuring that all reported issues are captured and, where appropriate, incorporated into the nuclear safety Performance Improvement programme. 

Main Purpose of Role;
To assist and guide the Nuclear Performance Manager (NPM) in the management of the operational governance of the whole Nuclear Site to ensure industry ‘best practice’, and a consistent approach to work practices across the nuclear Site. To monitor and ensure compliance with the Licenced Site Conditions and associated controls.
To assist in the development of a work plan against clearly defined performance objectives e.g. WANO Traits.
To identify all existing initiatives/work activities that exist within DRDL and work to develop and exploit synergies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competences.
Experience in developing, administering and delivering Performance Improvement Programmes. These include:
• Corrective Action Programme (CAP).
• Human Performance.
• Self-Assessment.
• Benchmarking.
• Observation Programme.
• Nuclear Safety Culture/Safety Culture.

Candidate:
You will be an experienced NuclearEngineer / Manager.
You will have at least 5-10years experience.
Ideally qualified HND / Degree / Chartered level.
